DAVID LICATA - Director-Producer
David Licata 's last film, Tango Octogenario, screened at New Directors/New Films (curated by the Museum of Modern Art and the Film Society of Lincoln Center), the Tribeca Film Festival, the Black Maria Film Festival (Director's Prize), the Rochester International Film Festival (Best of the Fest), and many others. Mr. Licata has been awarded grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and Dance Films Association and was an artist-in-residence at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Jentel Artist Residency, Fundacion Valparaiso (Mojacar, Spain), and Centrum Arts and Creative Education. His film, 8 1/2 x 11, which features Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo, was released on DVD by IFILM, accompanying the feature film Temporary Girl. (More?)
WOLFGANG HELD - Director of Photography
Wolfgang Held survived shooting Bruno, the new Sacha Baron Cohen film. Wolfgang is an Emmy award-winning cinematographer whose documentary work includes Children Underground (Academy Award nominee), Metallica: Some Kind of Monster, Mad Hot Ballroom, Writer of O., Carrier, and many others. He has worked with legendary documentarians D.A. Pennebaker and Maysles Film. A Life's Work is the second collaboration between Mr. Held and Mr. Licata.
